Virgin Classic

There was a time when I used to listen to a single radio station that broadcasted classic rock.

That was a time with a great rock community, a community of devoted and passionate listeners, a community no longer wanted at a certain moment: soon after Virgin Radio London studio (1, Golden Square) was sold and rebranded as Absolute Radio.

It still broadcast interesting music, only that the induced atmosphere is far from the "original" one. How could a radio station to simply erase its own community of listeners, when anyone else would buy it?

It is hard to understand. Writing these lines makes me think that I was really attached to that area of the station...

Reaching the studio at its 15th anniversary might be an extra reason for my attachment to it...

Searching for Virgin Radio for the sake of good old Virgin times, with joy I've found the last of their Classic Rock station lies within Italy: Virgin Radio Italy.

Starting from the home page, wait or skip the ad, then simply click on Virgin Classic under Web Radio menu placed on the right side of the webpage, and enjoy the music!
